About Crexton & your rights
Is this traditional publishing?
No. Crexton is a paid publishing service. You pay for production and distribution, keep your rights and royalties, and we do not pay advances.
Whose account and ISBN is my book under?
Yours. We publish in your own KDP and IngramSpark accounts, and the ISBN is registered in your name.
Who owns the rights to my book?
You do. You keep 100% of the copyright and 100% of the royalties from every sale.
Do you use AI to edit or design?
No. Every edit and every design is done by a person.
Plans & pricing
Can I get a custom quote?
Yes. Illustrated books, manuscripts over 120,000 words, series and single services get a fixed written quote within 24 hours, before any call.
What does the developmental edit include?
An editorial letter plus notes in your manuscript on structure, pacing and character or argument, in one full pass.
Is the audiobook narrated by a person?
Yes, Full Author Launch uses a professional human narrator.
Do you help with marketing?
Full Author Launch includes a launch marketing campaign and an author website. Marketing can be added to other plans; ask on your publishing call.
How do payments work?
A deposit of 30% to 50% starts your project, and the balance is due before your final files are released. Installment plans are available on plans above $899. You can pay by card or bank transfer.
What is your refund policy?

It is a 20-minute scoping call. If a plan fits, we will confirm it. If not, we will tell you.
What if my manuscript isn't finished?

How long does the process take?
Most books are published in 8 to 14 weeks. Timing depends on manuscript length, the level of editing and how quickly you review each stage.
